Baylis have a number of assembly capabilities, which include an Amada press-brake, stud assembly, hook lock assembly, riveting, air assembly processes and many other manual assembly processes.

In addition Baylis has a full in-house plc controlled degreasing plant to ensure components leave our site clean and ready for subsequent operations.
We start with the highest quality raw materials using approved mills only. This includes the likes of Aleris Aluminum (Germany) and Arcelor Mittal / Corus for mild steel grades.
Our quality assured purchases include over 2,000 tonnes per annum of mild steel and Aluminum and over 600 tonnes per annum of stainless steel through Thyssen Krupp AG (Germany). We only buy the best from the very best.
Our manufacturing processes operate under strict quality control procedures (TS16949) ensuring every part of the process remains under tight quality controls.
This includes the use of designated checking fixtures, test equipment and electronic sensor gauging.
In addition to the TS requirements the company has a Mitutoyo 3-axis co-ordinate measuring machine linked to the latest measurement software ensuring accurate measurement data at every stage of the production process.
Before final shipment all ‘sensitive’ products are placed through a ‘high-tech camera vision system’ as a final check thus ensuring the customer gets a complete quality assured product from start to finish.
